Some Traditional Food in London

London has become quite the gastronomic city these days ... but on this page I've listed a few of what you might call typically Traditional English places to go, I'm a Londoner and I've been to them all.

Tea at the Ritz, not the cheapest place to go, but what could be more traditional than a tea time visit to the famous Ritz Hotel in Picadilly, smart dress required.

Medieval Banquet, located at St Katherine's Dock by the Tower of London, this is a fun location and can be a fun evening, a better than average themed event which includes period entertainments.

Simpsons in the Strand, traditional surroundings and traditional British food, not a tourist trap, well worth a visit, smart dress required.

Sea Shell, well you've got to have Fish and Chips at least once while you are here and this is the place to come - take away and sit down meals available.

Cocktails at the Savoy, the America Bar at the Savoy Hotel has been a very cool and traditional place to meet for over 100 years.
